Blending Function, Form & Storytelling in Footwear Design
With a background in industrial design and a passion for innovation, I craft footwear that balances performance, aesthetics, and brand storytelling. My experience spans from concept development to production, shaping products that not only look great but also feel and function seamlessly. Whether reimagining classic silhouettes or pioneering new technologies, I bring a strategic and user-centered approach to every design. I specialize in brand strategy, merchandising, design/creative direction, design and development.
Below is a sampling of my work as a design director and designer.
Collaborations
Through collaborations, I bridged worlds. Aligning design, culture, and commerce to create limited-edition collections that amplified brand relevance, unlocked new audiences, and turned partnerships into powerful storytelling platforms. I led the design for high‑impact collaborations with cultural innovators like Colette, Supreme, Stüssy, Dunderdon, White Mountaineering, and JPress, each elevating Timberland’s and Tretorn’s cultural cachet and creative storytelling
Tretorn — Heritage reimagined for modern growth
I led Boston’s design team and partnered cross-functionally to streamline the line, focus the story, and accelerate delivery.
At Tretorn, we reimagined heritage through innovation elevating iconic silhouettes with sustainable construction, expanding lifestyle categories, and weaving design with storytelling to position the brand for global relevance.
Managed Tretorn’s Boston design team which represented 23% of the 34 million dollar business.
Led a cross-functional team in a merchandising transformation project, emphasizing data-driven decision-making. We reduced the SKU count for low-margin and low-performing shoes while expanding our core product offerings to fuel growth resulting in a 15% increase in revenue.
Streamlined R&D processes, reducing timelines by 2 months, enhancing product development efficiency and resulting in increased speed to market.
Tretorn
Trivsel sneaker—a Spring/Summer 2015 design distinguished by its lightweight, flexible, and sustainable qualities, achieved through a stitch-to-sole construction. I launched Tretorn into new territory by blending innovation with sustainability.
Tretorn - Men's Rubber boot
An expantion to Tretorn's rubber boot line. I designed this boot to build on the popularity of the strala model. This style - called "Gunner" - has had great success in the US market.
TRETORN Collaboration with Florence Broadhurst
I elevated cross‑functional execution through a Florence Broadhurst collaboration, managing merchandising strategy across patterns, colorways, and styles—ensuring cohesive storytelling and execution across both creative and commercial teams
Timberland — Premium craft with purpose
At Timberland, I curated collections that fused craft, culture, and history—transforming archival narratives and global collaborations into modern footwear stories that resonated with both workwear authenticity and street culture.
Led and designed for the men’s classic design team delivering product to the USA, APAC, and Europe markets, a $500M business.
Strong understanding of the global consumers - Designed collections that grew the Japanese business by 200% and the UK business by 150%.
Responsible for the Abington Collection, delivered 7 seasons that resulted in 500% growth of the collection sales and a renewed brand height in the street fashion market.
THE ABINGTON COLLECTION BY TIMBERLAND
At Timberland, I was rooted in the art of storytelling through collection curation. I architected the Abington Fall 2010 Collection, channeling the ethos of Boston’s civil servants from the 1920s–30s into a visually compelling design and merchandising narrative
Abington Fall 2010 Collection
Visual merchandizing plan for the F/W10 collection. Every season a new story was created to build the collection around. This season's new styles were inspired by the people from Boston that worked as civil servants in the 1920's and 1930's.

ABINGTON FALL 2009 COLLECTION
The Abington Fall 2009 Collection was built around “the hardworking people of New England,” crafting both theme and form to resonate across product and marketing touchpoints
TIMBERLAND HIKERS
I re-introduced a line of Timberland hikers tailored for the European market, combining functional design with regional sensibility.
